With these poems I struggled somewhat in wording them so that they would both fit and make sense. When writing poetry one thing you really have to think about is the words you must use. You often have to match words with the word in the line before in after or rhyme them. In these poems there was sometimes another requirement such as having a certain number of words or having a certain first letter. It was difficult to do this and still come up with a good line of poetry that made sense. I overcame these difficulties by using a dictionary or thesaurus to find words that meant what I wanted to say and met the requirements of the poem.
