When I wrote this piece I was able to express myself freely and a story that I enjoyed telling. I was proud of this piece because it was something I wanted to write about and I developed the story myself. I was given no book to write on and no topic to write about. I chose to write this story because I am very interested in technology and science. I enjoyed writing about extra-terrestrials and their highly developed technology. Writing about these factitious people gave me the opportunity to make up the personalities and physical appearance of them. This allowed me to express my interests and myself more than if I had been writing an essay on something such as a literary work.
