Long ago in the land of the gods there was a great war.  The war was fought to settle once and for all who was the strongest of the gods.  At this time the universe had consisted of one temple built of rock and all the gods lived within this giant temple.  The war continued for several months when finally the temple could no longer hold up and was blown apart by the power within.  The temple was blown into thousands of pieces, which bounced around the universe for ages, smashing into each other and, eventually becoming worn smooth and round.  The bigger rocks, because of their mass, slowed to a stop and were named planets while the little ones continue to float around to this day.  The light within the temple was shattered by the explosion and scattered throughout the universe where it would shine for all of eternity; they were to be known as stars.  The gods were also scattered throughout the universe by this explosion and some of the gods eventually came to rest on their own piece of rock on which they could reign over for eternity.  The gods, wanting beings to reign over, created all the creatures of the air, sea, and land, and to watch over these creatures they created man.  The fire that lay in the temple was blown nearest our own planet where it would be known as the sun and provide light for all the creatures of this planet.
